"Giving too much"

"Father thank you and Praise you today for enlightening us on how to love ourselves as you love yourself........I thank you and praise you that when you made the world and human beings you said "it is good".....and I do also praise you and thank you that satan is defeated and you have said "Let there Be light' In our Spirit and  in our Souls, Hearts, Minds and Bodies and so we praise you Lord that we would all recognize you Light and Walk in it more and more from this day forward, In Jesus' name, Amen"

I can almost remember the first time I ever saw the scripture "if someone wants you to go one mile, go with them two, and if they want your tunic, give them your cloak as well". this of course is when Jesus spoke as he first started ministering to the multitudes. I so wanted to be like Jesus! "With all my heart" I did and still do!' .......So you know I read this and then "the fun began"

Of course= the devil heard what I prayed also (little monster) and for years has sent all kinds of things my way to try and "beat me up" with this passage of scripture and others! You know he is such a moron, doesn't he know all things work for the Good for those who love the Lord and Fear His Name? Anyway on with my story............

So Jesus learned obedience by the things he suffered and he even said we are "not better than him" and we know that he is our Master! I have walked hundreds of miles with someone because of that scripture and given away a lot more than a tunic and coat! Hence the name "Sisterzeal" !!! ........Well then satan, the crafty little monster, came along and convinced me at times that because of this I now have to "get in God's face" and demand back from him "all I have given" a hundred fold (or whatever) because some preached preached that "dontcha know"........and they used the word to do it and they sounded all lofty and such. Now........God does want to bless his people and there is a harvest (dont' get me wrong) but this idea that I have given according to your Word Father and now "you have to do such and such" takes away God's Sovreignty and totally "wrecks" our relationship with him! (Which is what the devil was after in the first place, Amen?). so then "you see" maybe a little bit why we have so many different "church doctrines out there?" (who seem to all conflict with one another?). "Cause, some are real strict like "well I just take a vow of poverty and the life of serving God is having nothing nothing at all) WRONG! .......and then there is "give it all away honey it's a big fat seed and you'll get RICH NOW" and have a million dollars like this preacher does" uh....WRONG!!! oh I know and you "sowed a seed" to somewhere and now your family member is "gauranteed to get saved" (Wrong again)..........

As a dear friend recently reminded me by the Spirit of the Lord if your yoke is no longer "easy" and your burden" light" then something is wrong! If you are in an extreme to the point where you cannot even afford to take a little bit of time for "yourself and the Lord" well "God did not do that to you". "What do you mean?" "I am working SO HARD HERE" doing "everything God told me to do".......(really?).............hmm ........See all the words of God line up with and relate to "all the words of God" so you cannot leave some out! Do I honestly care right now how many "tunics' I have given away and whether I reaped 1000 more? (not really) .....I am very thankful for the Grace of God however, that he never gives up on me and continues to teach me every day even when I "get things wrong". You know, those disciples knew something when they said "if a man doesn't work he doesn't eat" They also knew that the Lord 'discipines' and says "Repent!".

Hey....if you ever tried to take a shortcut it's okay "God forgives you" and he knows your nature too (and took that all into consideration when he took you on) However, I continue to Press on and to say "Church of Jesus Christ" Let's "continue to Learn" from the Holy Spirit and "Grow up" in Him as it says in Ephesians 4..........(Amen) And that's our Primary Mission.......all the rest "falls into line" if we take care of our Salvation and work it all out with Him....
