The question is often asked, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" But where are they that ask, "Why do good things happen to good people?" It would seem that many of us view life, at times, like a series of rewards and punishments. If we are good, then God should bless us by making life easier, or by filling our lives with things we want. If bad things happen, then we may begin to wonder what we have done wrong to be punished so. If we believe that good should come only to those who are good, then what about grace? Is God´s grace extended to us because we deserve it? If we are children of God, we are always blessed. We are blessed because God has our best interest at heart. As a Good Father, God allows the good and the bad both in our lives to help us to grow to be strong in our faith. And because of His love for us, He often gives good things to us, not because we deserve it, but simply because He loves us.

Today was the deposition. I was so nervous. I left out some very important things that I should have mentioned about the accident. I just could not think.. I prayed and prayed that I would remember everything...

I told my lawyer after the deposition, I didn't do to good did I? He said you did ok but you left out most important things. So when he gets the manuscript, he is going to send it to me and I will write in what I missed... I already wrote them down as soon as I got home.  He said he knew I was nervous. But he said, not to worry about this, as long as he gets that information, he will them get it to the other lawyer who had the deposition. He will tell him I was so nervous, which I am sure the other lawyer could tell that too.  So it will get in the report for the insurance company. He said we still have a chance.  So..

When it was over I said now I can breate.

I don't know yet if this will go to trial or not, I sure hope and pray not.

...What on Earth is a deposition, anyway...?

Oh, college is so drop-dead dull & foolish, it's not even funny. I learned virtually nothing in my first semester; I have no expectations for the second. It's enough to put one to sleep.

Well, the courts are not an easy place to be. A place where many times our words can be twisted. I am sure you did the best you could, and no one can do better than their best!! I hope it will all turn out ok eventually!!

YES IT IS TERRIBLE... WE DON'T KNOW YET IF THIS BE GO TO TRIAL, BUT I SURE PRAY IT WON'T...MY MIND WAS A TOTAL BLANK. AND I PRAYED SO I WOULD REMEMBER THINGS. OF COURSE, SOME THINGS I DID. BUT LEAVING OUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT ALL MY INJURIES.. MY LAWTER SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT, WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE, AND WHEN I GET THE TRANSCRIPT, I CAN WRITE OUT WHAT I MISSED AND SEND IT TO MY LAWYER AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT.. THERE MUST BE SOME REASON FOR THIS... BUT ANYWAY, I DO KNOW THAT THE LORD WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING OUT FOR THE GOOD. HE IS STILL ON MY SIDE...... BUT I WAS SO NERVOUS... AND I AM SURE THEY ALL KNEW IT... BUT IT IS OVER.. NOW WE HAVE TO GO ON FROM HERE, AND I LIKE THE VERSE, IF GOD BEFORE ME, WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME....

I have been online for a little while.. believing for children's healing.. I refound a great site.. Caring bridge.. where families of children inflicted with sickness share the struggles and joys.. And I can share with them and leave messages to encourage the family and also pray of course!!

I get updates daily of different children.. one of the parents has already written back personally it is such a blessing to see God touch them through me!!

I have been enjoying the time with my sister and family..

I can fall asleep in anything if it's boring. Unless the teacher can see me. I did fall asleep in a class maybe twice this past semester. I have never fallen asleep in a class before. Not until I came to college & was talked at until I was bored to death & beyond. Not even EPI class ever bored me as much as the majority of my classes this year. If this is "higher education," they're all mad, & the only thing "high" about it is the junk people are smoking in between classes!

Why in the bloody hells did it take them more than ten years to get to this deposition? That's just stupid. No wonder you had a hard time remembering anything!
