DECEMBER 16, 2007 HONOR OF MY SISTER IN LAW JEAN

CHRISTMAS IS CREEPING UP ON US... I AM AS READY AS I WILL EVER BE.
IT WON'T BE THE SAME CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR, FOR MY SISTER IN LAW WENT HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD ON DEC. 11. SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER OF THE LIVER (75%) EIGHT WEEKS AGO.. SHE DID NOT WANT CHEMO,AND SHE DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL.. HER WISHES WERE GRANTED.. I WAS HAPPY TO HAVE THE HONOR OF PRAYING WITH HER, AND I AM SURE THAT SHE DID ACCEPT THE LORD IN HER HEART.. I KNEW SHE WAS READY TO GO IF IT WAS HER TIME... I DO BELIEVE THAT JEAN KNEW HER TIME WAS UP.. SHE DID NOT FIGHT TO LIVE... DURING THE EIGHT WEEKS, SHE REALLY WENT DOWN HILL FAST.... I SAT WITH HER LAST WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY MORNING.. ON MONDAY AFTERNOON I STOPPED BY, ALL THE KIDS WERE THERE WITH JEAN AND JERRY.... I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF SHE KNEW I WAS THERE, SHE WAS NOT RESPONDING... AND SHE DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THE SAME PERSON AT ALL.. IT WAS VERY PAINFUL FOR THE THEIR CHILDREN AND MY BROTHER TO SEE HER LIKE THIS, AND I KNOW SHE DID SUFFER, BUT DID NOT COMPLAIN MUCH AT ALL. SHE WAS NOT EATING OR DRINKING.  THEY HAD A HOSPITAL BED FOR HER IN THE LIVING ROOM.. AND MY NEICE WAS STAYING NIGHTS WITH THEM FOR AT LEAST A WEEK OR LONGER... SHE WOULD GO HOME TO HER FAMILY, THAN COME BACK.. AND STAY NIGHTS... SHE LIVES JUST A FEW BLOCK FROM MY BROTHER... AND THE TWO BOYS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE NOT THAT FAR AWAY FROM HIM EITHER. AND MY OTHER BROTHER LIVES JUST A SHORT DISTANCE FROM HIM. HE KNOWS HE IS WELCOME OVER HERE AT ANY TIME, AND I AM ONLY A PHONE CALL AWAY... HE HAS FRIENDS THAT HE CAN VISIT ALSO.... HE KNOWS IT IS GOING TO BE LONELY FOR A WHILE, BUT THE LORD IS WITH HIM AND HE WILL SEE JERRY THROUGH ALL THIS.
HE WAS GOING TO HIS OLDEST SON'S  AND HIS FAMILY FOR DINNER  TODAY....
HIS CHILDREN WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF THEIR FATHER TOO.....
I HAVE CHRISTMAS DAY HERE, AND JEAN WILL SURE BE MISSED... LAST YEAR, WHO EVER THOUGHT THAT SHE WOULDN'T BE HERE WITH US A YEAR LATER FOR CHRISTMAS.
WE JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR US.. AND SHE IS HAPPY NOW..... IT IS HARD FOR THE LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND... BUT SOMEDAY WE WILL SEE HERE AGAIN, AND I THINK IT WILL BE SOONER THAN WE THINK, FOR JESUS IS COMING SOON....
FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR JEAN, THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS.. I THANK YOU DEAR SHARON, FOR I KNOW YOU HAVE DONE MORE THAN YOUR PART... GOD WILL BLESS YOU FOR THAT...
IT IS A COLD SUNDAY.. WE DID HAVE A FEW SNOW FLURRIES THIS MORNING, BUT NOTHING THAT LASTED. IT IS REALLY TO COLD TO SNOW...
TONIGHT IS MY NEPHEWS MUSICAL AT CHURCH.. STERLING LOVES TO SING.... AND HE IS A GOOD SINGER TOO.... THEY HAD A PRESENTATION YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AT CHURCH AT 3:00. THE ONE TONIGHT IS AT 6:00...
YOU HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
GOD BLESS..
